Andrew Mack
I’m Andrew Mack, but most people know me as Joux. I was born in Orange, California, but my artistic journey has taken me far beyond those sunny streets. My love for art started early—sketching and coloring in school, inspired by the cartoons I grew up watching. As I got older, my creativity evolved, and so did my influences.
Growing up in Switzerland, I was drawn to the raw energy of graffiti and street art. The rebellious nature of the scene resonated with me, and I threw myself into it completely. But that path came with consequences—I got caught a couple of times and ended up serving some time. That experience forced me to rethink my direction, and I made the decision to start fresh in the U.S., the country where I was born.
It took seven years of searching before I finally found my true creative outlet. I began exploring visionary and street art, blending my graffiti roots with new influences from the festival scene, nature, sacred geometry, and healing.
Inspiration comes to me from all around—nature, plant medicine, the intricate patterns of sacred geometry, and even the artwork on passing trains. Over time, I developed my own unique style, one that reflects my journey and the transformation I’ve undergone. Today, my work can be seen on walls across the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia, each piece a testament to my evolution as an artist and as a person.
